1.
Do you need to pressure wash before painting the exterior? |
Pressure washing the
exterior will remove dirt and grime build-up. After pressure washing the surface will be clean and ready for patching and priming prior to painting. Pressure
washing is
absolutely necessary to ensure proper paint adhesion to the surface to guarantee a
lasting result. |

Do I get to choose the type of paint? |
If you really prefer
one brand over another you may choose the paint type. We have contractor
accounts
with Benjamin Moore and Color Wheel. We also purchase paint from Home
Depot, Lowes or Sherwin Williams if the customer has a specific paint
type request. |

3.
Why do you prime the home prior to painting it? |
Priming the home prior
to painting will guarantee all tiny cracks and crevasses are filled with
paint for a maximum seal. The prime coat will also make the top coat of paint adhere
better.
The purpose of painting the home is to keep the weather elements out, a secondary function
is
the aesthetic beauty of the job. |
